Investment management
Your portfolio has one job: to pay for the life you are planning.
We manage your portfolio on a discretionary basis, with a clear, easy-to-follow allocation set from your plan and reviewed as your life changes. Your accounts stay in your name at an independent custodian, and you can see them any time. You will know what you own and why.
We start from your plan, not from a product: the income you need, when you need it, and the risk you are willing to carry.
We recommend an allocation across asset categories, explain why in language you can follow, and put it in writing.
You grant the firm discretion, which means we make the trades to keep your accounts on that allocation without calling you before each one.
You can set limits in writing, such as securities or categories you do not want to hold, and we follow them.
We review your accounts on a regular schedule and recommend changes when your situation or the plan calls for them. You can accept or decline any recommendation.

A conversation about your goals, your timeline, and how you have invested until now.
We gather your statements and build the picture in planning software.
We recommend an allocation and explain the reasons in writing.
You sign the agreement and the custodian paperwork, and we move the accounts.
We manage to the allocation and review it with you on a regular schedule.
No. You keep ownership, and the accounts stay in your name at the custodian. What you grant is discretion: the authority to make trades within the allocation we agreed on, without approving each one. You can limit that authority in writing, and you can end the agreement.
The firm has a stated minimum, which can be waived case by case, and related accounts in one household can be combined to meet it. The current figure is in the disclosure brochure. Eric will tell you in the first conversation whether the firm is a fit for your situation.
A registered investment adviser is paid a fee for advice and owes clients a fiduciary duty, rather than earning commissions on trades. We charge an asset-based fee for management. Eric does earn commissions on insurance he sells separately, and we disclose that before you buy anything.
